94 Nigerian females stranded in Lebanon including some of those in a video that went viral recently arrived the Murtala Mohammed international airport lagos. The returnees were recieved by the
Chairman Nigeria Diaspora Commission Abike Dabiri Erewa, along with National emergency management agency NEMA and other agencies at the airport.
Dabiri Erewa disclosed that 200 Nigerian prisoners in Saudi Arabia are to be repatriated back to Nigeria.
The repatriation of the prisoners is aimed at decongesting Saudi prisions.
Dabiri Erewa stated that Dubai has also given all illegal immigrants residing in that country up to 17th of August 2020 to leave the country.
She noted that the federal government has arranged three free flights to evacuate Nigerians from Dubai and called on Nigerians in that country who do not have valid documents to take this opportunity and return home.
Abike Dabiri Erewa charged younger ones to resist the temptation of travelling abroad and stay back in the country.
The excited young females on arrival at the airport were full of praises for Nigerian government and they sang songs of praises for the country for bringing them back home.
More of the evacuation flights from Lebanon are expected in the next couple of days.
