- MMA2 warns passengers on vandalising Airport facilities
Air passemgers have been charged to adhere strictly to airport regulations and conduct themselves in a manner befitting of responsible users of air transport infrastructure.
Operators of Murtala Muhammad Airport Terminal Two MMA2, Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited who gave the charge in a release by its head of Corporate Communications Ajoke Yinka-Olawuyi warmed Air passengers not to resort to violence and destruction of airport property as a result of flight disruption, as BASL will not hesitate to apply the law in bringing to book any individual involved in such infractions.
Yinka-Olawuyi said the terminal operator has zero tolerance for any acts of vandalism and other unwholesome practices.
and expressed the unwavering commitment of the terminal operator to passenger safety, security, and the protection of airport property.
She stressed that aggrieved passengers should never resort to violence and destruction of airport property following flight disruptions as such actions, pose a threat to the safety and well-being of other passengers and airport staff and property.
she said :” MMA2 condemns such behavior in the strongest terms possible and emphasizes our stance affirming zero tolerance for vandalizing of airport property, including cameras, and other amenities, which remains unacceptable.
“Any individual found engaging in such acts will face strict legal consequences, fully, including prosecution by the law.
” While we understand that flight disruptions can be frustrating, we urge passengers to make their complaints courteously and seek redress through appropriate channels.
“Our staff are here to address any concerns or grievances professionally and respectfully.
Prohibition of Violence: Any form of violence within the terminal premises is highly prohibited. MMA2 maintains a safe and secure environment for all passengers and staff, and any individual found engaging in violent behavior will be dealt with swiftly and decisively.
