The federal Airports Authority of Nigeria FAAN says no pregnant woman was raped to death at Owerri Airport
Spokesperson for FAAN Obiageli Orah in release stated that the naked body of a female identified as Mrs Chinwendu Amadi was discovered near Runway 17 axis of the airport.
Orah stated that all security operatives at the airport including the Airport commandant were immediately alerted by the Airport chief of security
She disclosed that initial investigation observed that the deceased sustained several stabs on the abdomen, as there were no indication that she was murdered at that place
Further investigations are ongoing on the incident
