A Lagos-bound flight belonging to Air Peace experienced a bird strike shortly before take-off in the early hours of today at the Nnamdi Azikwe international Abuja.
The airline ‘s head of corporate communications, Ejike Ndiulo, in a statement said the bird strike prompted a ramp return ensuring the safety of passengers onboard, the bird strike occurred at 6:30 a.m. and all passengers were successfully disembarked
Ndiulo, said they have deployed a replacement aircraft for the affected flight in order to minimize disruptions, in ensuring that passengers continue their journeys promptly.
