The Funeral rites of late veteran Aviation journalist Shola Adekola will commence March 18 2025
The family of the late Adekola in a statement signed by Tosin Adekola say the Funeral which is 2 day arrangement will commence with a Wake-Keep/Service of Songs by 4pm, on Tuesday 18th March, 2025 at No 9 Ikire Street, Bammeke, Shasha, Alimosho Lagos
The statement also stated that the Funeral service would take place on Wednesday 19th March, 2025, by 10am, at Halleluyah Mega Parish 16, St Peter Church Street, Bammeke, Shasha.
After the service, the late Adekola will be laid to rest ar Redemption City Memorial Garden, KM 46 Lagos-Ibadan Expressway
The late Mrs Shola Oluremi Adekola died on Tuesday 4th March, 2025 at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital LASUTH after a brief illness
Until her death, the renowned journalist was working for the Nigerian Tribune as the Deputy Business Editor/Aviation Editor where she published her popular column CRUCIAL MOMENT every Thursday.
The family of Adekola extend their deepest appreciation to all those who have shown warmth and compassion to them following the unfortunate transition of the 61 year old journalist
