AirPeace Airline has announced a temporary suspension of flights into Akanu Ibiam International Airport Enugu over Airport Runway.

Head of Corporate Communications AirPeace Airline Ejike Ndiulo in a release say as a result of this, all scheduled flights into and out of Enugu will now be operated into and out of Asaba Airport.

He stated that “The situation of the Enugu runway has been causing major disruptions to AirPeace flights, hence the decision to temporarily suspend further flights into this airport, until further notice”.

Ndiulo noted that since the airline prioritizes safety first over inconvenience, it is their believe that if flights are not operated into the Aerodrome in the next few days, it will allow the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria FAAN the opportunity to perform the necessary repairs on the Runway.

AirPeace regrets any inconvenience this change might have caused.
