The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority NCAA says it will blacklist Waisu Ayinde Marshal popularly known as K1, for six months over his unruly behaviour at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Tuesday
Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection NCAA, Michael Achimugu disclosed this at the sidelines of the 29th confrence of league of Airport and Aviation Correspondents in lagos on Thursday.
Achimugu noted that people will break rules and that is why the law and law enforcement exists.
He said “As we speak, the passenger is going to be blacklisted for the next six months by Nigeria . Aviation rules are made for everybody, for Protection of everybody, there is nothing about the rules, and these rules are global “.
” There is nothing about the rules that antagonise any passenger. So, even for the passenger’s own sake , if you watch those videos, does it speak well of the passenger or the pilot?. So we will do everything we can to get to the root of it. Everybody who needs to be punished for sanctions will recieve the punishment”.
Achimugu stated that “The NCAA is writing the Attorney General of the Federation and the Inspector General of Police , as we speak to take up a court case against the passenger in this case.”
