Former governor of Zamfara state Abdulaziz Yari has been blasted by the federal airports authority of Nigeria FAAN for violating public health protocols on covid 19 at the Mallam Aminu international airport kano.
FAAN says it condemns the conduct of Yari who allegedly violated public health procedure on covid 19 at the kano airport, as he refused to obey the protocols in place by the federal government through the presidential Taskforce on Covid-19.
Yari allegedly pushed away an environment office for insisting that his luggage must be disinfected and stressed that the officer should have known that he is a VIP
FAAN However cautioned all airport users irrespective of their status to respect the presidential directive by observing the public health travel protocols put in place to protect air passengers against infection and the spread of the coronavirus
