The Comptroller General Nigeria Immigration Service kemi Nandap with the ministerial approval has ordered the immediate repatriation of a Zimbabwean Bishop from Nigeria .
The NIS in a release by its spokesperson Kenneth Udo said the Zimbabwean Bishop Eben K. Nhiwatawi was repatriated for alleged violations of Immigration laws.
The Bishop was said to have arrived the country on 21st August 2024,,with a tourist visa meant solely for tourism purpose, but was later discovered to be participating in a church leadership election process, which a clear violation of the terms and privileges associated with tourist visa, as approved in the Nigeria visa policy 2024.
Nhiwatawi was apprehended in Yola,
