The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has assured passengers that with it’s enhanced safety surveillance, the Nigerian airspace is safer now.
The acting Director General, Civil Aviation, Captain Chris Najomo gave the assurance during the staff annual New Year prayers held at the Authority’s corporate headquarters in Abuja.
The prayer session is held every 2nd January while this year’s event also marked the kick-start of the series of activities to make NCAA at 25th anniversary celebration.
Speaking at the sidelines of the programme, Captain Najomo said the Authority has enhanced safety surveillance because of safety issues which has made airspace safer.
Captain Najomo also told the staff he’s focus on delivering on his core job functions and meet his performance targets, noting that he’s not distracted by sponsored fabricated fake stories to attack him.
On staff work conditions, he said his management is motivating staff in the best ways possible in addition to improved work space.
Highpoint of this year’s event was the hoisting of NCAA @25 flag and the unveiling of the anniversary monument by the Acting Director-General Civil Aviation of Nigeria, accompanied by his management team and hordes of NCAA staffers.
