The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority NCAA has embarked on sensitization of air passengers on the need to stop violent attack against airline ground staff and cabin crew.
Director Public Affairs and Consumer Protection NCAA Michael Achimugu, led a team of officers from the Directorate to educate passengers about the dangers of verbal/physical assault in the terminals and aboard aircraft.
He said the move is to enable them arrest the rising tide of violence in the industry.
Achimugu disclosed that the drive will be nationwide and it teaches that CABIN CREW ARE NOT THE ENEMY of passengers as They don’t make the rules but are there to ensure passenger safety and assist them on their journey.
He noted that “Be you passenger, cabin crew, or ground staff, we are all partners in this ecosystem, and we must not hurt one another.
