Minister of aviation Hadi Sirika says he has approved the sum of 1b naira for the completion of the international terminal building at the Akanu Ibiam international airport Enugu.
Sirika who made this known Sunday in Enugu at the reopening of the Akanu Ibiam international airport Enugu Runway, assured the people of the South East that the federal government would finish the cargo terminal of the airport.
He said “I want to assure your excellencies that having delivered this project on time and on budget the next focus is to deliver the cargo terminal, the international terminal building of the airport and many more”
He also stated that “As a matter of fact yesterday Saturday before I left office, I had approved and released the sum of 1billion naira to continue work in the international building ”
The Akanu Ibiam international airport Enugu was shut down last year for rehabilitation work on the Runway
