The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS Kemi Nandap on Monday received the Inspector-General of Police,Olatunji Rilwan Disu accompanied by senior Police Officers, on a courtesy visit to the Service Headquarters in Abuja.

The high-level engagement focused on strengthening inter-agency collaboration in the areas of National Security, Border Management, intelligence sharing, capacity building and coordinated responses to transnational crimes.

NIS spokesperson Akinsola Akinlabi in a statement said both agencies underscored the importance of synergy in safeguarding the Nation’s territorial integrity and enhancing internal security architecture.

He noted that the Comptroller-General appreciated the visit and reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to deepening strategic partnerships with the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies to ensure effective law enforcement, improved migration governance, and National stability.
