The Edo state police has approved the formation of a Police Tactical base in Iviukhua Community in Agenebode, Estakor East local government area of Edo state.

The move is part of measures to tackle the rising spate of Insecurity with series of kidnappings in the Community and environs.

To this end, the people of Iviukhua Community have expressed their profound appreciation to the police hierarchy for approving the tactical formation.

This was contained in an appreciation letter signed by the President General of Iviukhua Community Most Senior High Chief Kennedy Izuagbe.

Izuagbe expressed gratitude to the Nigeria Police Force, on behalf of the Onogie of Iviukhua Community, as well as the good people of the community for graciously approving the application of the Iviukhua Community for a police formation.

He stated that “Your physical visit today to our community and subsequent communication of the Edo state Police Command’s approval of Tactical Police Command in our community has thrown the community and the neighbouring communities into wild jubilation.”

“Sir, we would like to assure you that your approval of this Command to address the security challenges in our community, Egori communities and the adjoining communities remain a legacy that you will forever be referring to as a very bright spot in your career.” he added.

He stressed that “Iviukhua Community commits to cooperating with your office to ensure a seamless take off of the Command”.

Izuagbe noted that all facilities in the building housing the Command are currently being fine-tuned to world class standards to encourage optimal performance of the Command.

He stated that Iviukhua Community is known for uncommon hospitality, as an excellent host.

He assured the Nigeria Police Force that its men that would be deployed to Iviukhua Community shall have a full taste of their hospitality.
