The Nigerian Immigration Service NIS has approved the deployment of six Assistant Comptroller General ACG and twenty six comptrollers across commands and formations within the country.
The NIS in a release signed by its spokesperson Amos Okpu, for the acting comptroller General Idris Jere, the redeployment takes immediate effect.
Okpu said the NIS boss approved the major shake-up in the posting order on the 21st January 2020.
The redeployment are, Assistant Comptroller General and Coordinator Zone F Ibadan ACG Amahian, has been moved to the planning Research and Statistics (PRS) at the service Headquarters Abuja, while ACG LE Oemi-Ockiya formerly in PRS moves to Ibadan as the new Zonal Coordinator
ACG in charge of General Services at the service Headquarters OG Osisanya has been deployed to Lagos as the new Zonal Coordinator Zone A. Acg EI Inok formerly Zonal coordinator zone H Makurdi has been moved to service headquarters to be in charge of Budget.
ACG in charge of investigation and compliance AO Esekhagbe moves to migration Directorate while ACG UA Auna who was the former principal staff officer to the Acting comptroller General is now deployed to the investigation and compliance Directorate.
Comptrollers affected in the new deployment includes lagos state command comptroller AB Aliyu who has been moved to the service headquarters as the new principal staff officer to the Acting comptroller General while comptroller Bagiwa Mani formerly of Kaduna command takes over as the new Lagos state command comptroller
N Nandap is the new comptroller Murtala Muhammed international airport lagos,
Also deployed are comptrollers YU Galma
and NI Eneregbu have been moved to head Seme Border command and Mfun border command respectively
Comptroller ES Fagbamigbe moves to idi-Iroko border command while comptroller G Bello moves to kastina state
The Acting Comptroller General enjoined the officers to deepen their contributions to the ongoing reforms efforts in the Service in their new postings.
