Preparations for the Nigeria Aviation Hall of Fame induction ceremony have reached an advanced stage following the completion of the final screening of nominees, organisers have announced.

They said arrangements are being finalised for what is expected to be a landmark event celebrating outstanding contributions to the nation’s aviation industry.

Speaking on the development, co-organiser Wole Shadare commended the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, for his support.

“We are putting finishing touches to what promises to be a defining moment for Nigeria’s aviation history. The support of the Honourable Minister has been phenomenal and a major boost to the success of this initiative,” he said.

Also, co-organiser Gboyega Adeoye expressed appreciation to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and other aviation agencies for their collaboration.

“The support from FAAN, NAMA, NCAA and NCAT demonstrates a united industry committed to celebrating its heroes and preserving its rich heritage,” he stated.

The organisers also
acknowledged the contributions of corporate partners, including Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Google Nigeria, SAHCO PLC and several airlines.

“This induction is not only about honouring individuals; it is about inspiring future generations and documenting the legacies of those who helped build Nigeria’s aviation industry,” .
