Ahead of the commencement of its new regional services to Bamako, Conakry, Douala and Libreville on 1 August 2026, Air Peace, West and Central Africa’s largest airline, recently hosted a Travel Agency Forum.
This is just as the airline reaffirms its commitment to strengthening collaboration with the travel agency community and expanding regional connectivity across Africa.
The forum brought together travel partners and industry stakeholders to showcase the airline’s regional expansion plans, highlight new commercial opportunities, and deepen engagement with the travel trade ahead of the launch of the four new routes.
Delivering the opening remarks, Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Nowel Ngala, underscored the strategic importance of the new regional routes, noting that they would improve connectivity across West and Central Africa, facilitate trade and tourism, and create greater opportunities for both passengers and travel partners.
He reiterated Air Peace’s commitment to working closely with travel agencies to drive the success of the expanded regional network.
Representing the National President of the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA), Mr. Yinka Folami, the Vice President, Lagos Zone, Mr. Yinka Olapade, commended Air Peace for its continued investment in route expansion, describing the new regional services as a significant milestone that would strengthen regional integration and create new opportunities for the travel industry.
The Senior Vice President for Sabre Travel Solutions in Central & West Africa, Mr. Allen Awosikunde commended Air Peace for its remarkable achievements and congratulated the airline’s management on the successful launch of its new regional routes, describing the expansion as a significant milestone that would further strengthen connectivity across West and Central Africa.
Also speaking, Mrs. Funmilayo Ogunsanwo, Manager for Air Commerce at Travelport, lauded the airline’s expanding regional network, noting that the new routes would stimulate business growth, improve connectivity, and create additional revenue opportunities for travel agencies.
She also expressed appreciation to Air Peace for its continued investment in opening new markets for the travel trade.
Travel Partners and industry consultant were taken through presentations by the airline’s Domestic, International and Regional Sales teams, highlighting Air Peace’s expanding route network, operational strengths, route performance analytics, and customer-focused offerings.
The sessions also showcased promotional initiatives and commercial opportunities for the upcoming regional routes designed to help travel partners maximize sales while delivering greater value to passengers.
The presentations were followed by an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing travel partners to engage directly with Air Peace executives on the airline’s expansion plans, challenge faced on some routes, reservation offerings and future opportunities.
Delivering the Chairman’s goodwill message, Mr. Ngala expressed appreciation to the travel agencies for their unwavering support, describing them as indispensable partners in the airline’s growth.

He reaffirmed Air Peace’s commitment to deepening its partnership with the travel trade as it continues to expand its network and connect more people, businesses and destinations across Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
