United Nigeria Airlines has strengthened the value of its customer loyalty programme, Unity Rewards, through a strategic partnership with Boulevard Hotels, a move that will provide members with discounted accommodation, flexible check-in and check-out options, and other exclusive hospitality benefits.

The airline said the collaboration is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance customers’ travel experiences by extending the benefits of its loyalty programme beyond air travel into the hospitality and lifestyle sectors.

Under the new arrangement, Unity Rewards members who book and stay at any Boulevard Hotels property will receive a 25 per cent discount on room rates, with breakfast included.

Guests will also enjoy early check-in from 6:00 a.m. and late check-out until 5:00 p.m., a significant extension from the conventional 12:00 p.m. check-out time. In addition, members will benefit from a complimentary turn-down service during their stay.

The latest partnership further broadens the Unity Rewards lifestyle network, bringing the number of participating hotel partners to 12. The programme also includes partnerships with fitness centres and other lifestyle brands that offer exclusive discounts and special privileges to members.

United Nigeria Airlines launched Unity Rewards on February 12, 2026, as part of its customer retention strategy aimed at rewarding passenger loyalty, encouraging repeat patronage, and improving the overall travel experience.

Since its introduction, the airline disclosed that the programme has attracted more than 15,000 members, reflecting growing customer acceptance of its loyalty offerings.

Through the programme, members earn reward points equivalent to one per cent of the base fare on every completed flight. Each reward point carries a redemption value of N2, allowing members to accumulate points that can be redeemed for future benefits.

The loyalty scheme is structured into four membership tiers – Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby, and Diamond – with each successive level unlocking additional privileges. These include access to airport lounges, increased baggage allowances, priority check-in and boarding services, as well as other premium travel benefits designed to improve passengers’ overall journey.

Industry observers note that airlines worldwide are increasingly expanding their loyalty programmes beyond flight rewards by partnering with hotels, financial institutions, retailers, and lifestyle brands.

Such collaborations enable carriers to offer customers year-round value while strengthening brand loyalty in an increasingly competitive aviation market.

Speaking on the new partnership, United Nigeria Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, Adedayo Olawuyi, said the initiative demonstrates the airline’s commitment to continuously enhancing the benefits available to its loyal customers.

According to him, the partnership with Boulevard Hotels represents another milestone in the airline’s drive to create greater value for Unity Rewards members.

“Our partnership with Boulevard Hotels is another step in our commitment to giving Unity Rewards members more reasons to stay loyal to us. Beyond earning points on every flight, our members can now enjoy greater savings and added comfort from discounted room rates to flexible check-in and check-out times.

“We are continually expanding the value of the Unity Rewards programme, and this partnership is a clear demonstration of what our members stand to gain as we grow our network of hotel, fitness, and lifestyle partners,” Olawuyi said.

The airline reaffirmed that it will continue to build strategic collaborations across the hospitality, wellness and lifestyle sectors to ensure that Unity Rewards members enjoy a more comprehensive travel experience, both in the air and on the ground.

The latest alliance is expected to further strengthen customer engagement while reinforcing United Nigeria Airlines’ position as one of Nigeria’s growing domestic carriers focused on delivering value-added services beyond conventional air transportation.
