The recognition celebrates the NCAT rector’s achievements in public service administration and his contributions to the development of air transport education in Nigeria.

Reacting to the award, the rector described the recognition as a humbling experience, saying it would further strengthen his commitment to delivering improved services to the aviation sector and the country.
He viewed the honour not only as an acknowledgement of his contributions but also as a call to greater responsibility and renewed dedication to national development.
Ismaila dedicated the award to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, whom he acknowledged for his supervisory role and commitment to the aviation sector.
He also expressed appreciation to the management and staff of NCAT for their unwavering commitment to service, recognising their collective efforts in advancing the institution’s mandate of providing professional training for personnel in the aviation industry.

The award comes amid the continuing need to strengthen technical expertise, institutional capacity and professional standards in Nigeria’s aviation sector, where training institutions play a critical role in developing the skilled workforce required to support industry growth and operational safety.
