The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), has cautioned on the emergence of a new sect called ACHAD Life Mission International.

According to a circular issued and signed by the principal Staff Officer PSO to the Comptroller General of NIS, Kemi Nandap, Comptroller Adedotun Aridegebe, to all directorates, zones , commands, borders, and training institutions request them to be vigilant and report immediately any sign of the sect and where possible arrest as well as revert accordingly

While seeking strict compliance of the directive, the NIS said intelligence report at its disposal reveals that the Sect has-been canvassing for members both within and outside Nigeria with possible involvement in human trafficking and child separation.

The Circular which was pushed out on January 14, 2025 entitled :” Emergence of a new Sect named ACHAD Life Mission International states that ” I am directed to inform that the intelligence gathered by the Service reveals the emergence of a new Sect called ACHAD Life Mission International.

The intelligence reports that the sect have their headquarters in Kaduna, while its leader, one Mr.Yokana , lives in Jos, Plateau State.
“It further notes that the Sect neither believes in Islam nor Christianity , but
preaches the restoration of the African tradition and support to humanity.”
