Emir of Kano commends Air Peace, as Airline commences flight operations to Jeddah
Nigeria’s fast growing and Regional Airline, Air Peace has been commended for commencing direct flight operations to Jeddah.

The Airline was commended for the milestone by the Emir of Kano HRH Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero stating that Air Peace has once again blazed the trail, as the Airline commenced direct scheduled commercial flight operations into Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on October 31st 2023
The inaugural flight which was operated from Kano with their Boeing 777 aircraft took off from Kano at about 23:22hrs with 231 passengers on board.
Chairman of Air Peace Airline Allen Onyema says their entry into Jeddah is ‘another milestone recorded in the annals of Nigeria’s aviation industry as Jeddah is the airline’s sixth international destination in just nine years of its commencement of commercial flights”
He further disclosed that ” This is a huge achievement, not just for Air Peace but for Nigeria. We are undoubtedly exemplifying our ambition of connecting Nigeria to the world with World class flight service. Air Peace is on a mission to easing the air travel burden for Nigerians and plugging the connectivity gaps that have hitherto existed. We are happy to be serving as a means of solidifying socio-economic ties between Nigeria and other countries of the World “
He noted that Saudi Arabia Airspace is not new to the airline, as they have operated numerous Hajj flights to the country, as they are very familiar with the terrain
Onyema disclosed that the airline’s Hajj flight this year was massive, stressing that they are flying into Saudi Arabia not as a charter flight, but regular schedule operations
The Airline boss stated that “Air Peace is leaving no city behind and this is beyond domestic operations. We are poised to continually create strategic connections that ease Air travel and foster economic development in the market where we operate. In line with this route expansion drive, we are launching flight operations into London soon “
