Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo says the federal government is working behind the scene to resolve the issues between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates UAE.
Keyamo who made this known at the sideline of Aviation Stakeholders forum in Lagos noted that the government is not commenting on it for now to avoid the initial problems it had before
He however assured the issues will be resolved and stated that ” We are working round the clock, behind the scene, so let me not breach the agreement we reached in the UAE agreement. You are dragging me into an area that puts us in a problem the first time, we are working round the clock I can assure you, that will be myself in Dubai in the next or less than two weeks from now to dot the I,and cross the T”
Keyamo noted that he has taken a lot of input from the Stakeholders forum as there were lots of contributions from those who have enormous interest in the industry
He stated that “Am going to take all of those information to Warri, we are having a retreat starting from Thursday in Warri, and at that meeting, all of us the technical people will sit down and see how we can incorporate all these into major decisions by the Federal government ”
On the issue of Nigeria Air Keyamo stressed that the final decision lies with Mr President
