The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency NIMASA has concluded plans to hold a sensitisation programme bordering on its transition for an automated ship registration system.
The programme is to facilitate a more efficient transparent, secure and seamless delivery of its Ship Registration Services
According to NIMASA, the virtual programme on the Zoom platform is Titled;”Automation of Ship Registration Processes and Stakeholder Sensitisation Webiner” is scheduled for September 15th, 17th, 22nd and 24th, 2026, at 10am daily.
NIMASA in a statement said the Automation initiative is intended to improve stakeholders access to ship registration services and streamline the process associated with the registration and administration of vessels under Nigeria flag.
