The federal airports authority of Nigeria FAAN has again expressed dismay at an alleged assault of an aviation security personnel AVSEC by the head of Directorate of state security DSS Safiyanu ABBA
FAAN in a tweet titled Breach of security procedure and assault on AVSEC officer by the head of DSS at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport Abuja say:
“We not with dismay that Mr Safiyanu Abba , head of DSS at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport Abuja NAIA, deliberately obstructed airport security process and slapped an aviation security officer who was performing his duty by calling on Mr Safiyanu Abba to resist from doing so”
“This happened on the 17th July at about 15.25hours . He breached security procedure by obstructing further searching of a visitor who had just walked through the metal detector and activated the alarms”.
The federal airport authority is still investigating the alleged breach of protocols and procedures of covid 19 by a former governor of Zamfara at the kano airport and governor of Adamawa at the porth Harcourt airport.
