Three passengers travelling with United Nigeria Airlines have received newly released Samsung Galaxy smartphones after emerging winners in a special onboard promotion organised in partnership with the technology company.

The winners, Hamid Ibrahim, Chidi Chinedu and Gbenga Bello, were selected through a lucky dip conducted during flights operating on the Lagos–Abuja and Abuja–Lagos routes on Monday, June 1.

The campaign, tagged “Awesome Row”, formed part of a collaboration between the airline and Samsung aimed at creating a unique experience for travellers and rewarding customer loyalty.

Apart from the presentation of the smartphones, passengers on the designated flights were given exclusive access to the newly launched Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 devices during the journey, enabling them to experience the features of the phones first-hand.

United Nigeria Airlines described the initiative as another demonstration of its commitment to enhancing customer experience and offering value beyond air transportation.

Commenting on the outcome of the exercise, the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer, Dayo Olawuyi, said the success of the promotion underscored the company’s dedication to creating memorable moments for passengers and strengthening the bond between the carrier and its customers.

According to him, the airline’s philosophy is centred on connecting Nigerians and facilitating movement for business, family and other important engagements.
