Arik Air will officially participate as one of the major exhibitors at the maiden Nigeria International Airshow holding from 2–4 December 2025 in Abuja, marking a significant milestone for both the airline and the nation’s aviation sector.
The event, which is being organised by the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, is set to showcase Nigeria’s readiness to take a leading role in Africa’s rapidly evolving aviation industry.
The Nigeria International Airshow is expected to attract a broad spectrum of global and regional stakeholders, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), commercial and business aviation operators, defence and aerospace organisations, aviation regulators, government agencies, and high-profile investors.
The exhibition is designed to stimulate collaboration, foster innovation, and drive foreign and local investment into Nigeria’s aviation ecosystem.
For Arik Air, the airshow presents an opportunity to reassert its influence as a key Nigerian carrier and reconnect with the wider industry community.
The airline will use the platform to highlight its brand evolution, showcase its operational strengths, and engage industry leaders on emerging opportunities within the African and global aviation markets.

Speaking on the airline’s readiness for the event, Arik Air’s Chief Executive Officer, Captain Roy Ilegbodu, described the airshow as a pivotal moment for the country’s aviation aspirations.
“Arik Air’s participation in the airshow aligns with our mission to become a dominant air-services brand, globally admired for world-class operating, safety, and service delivery standards, while continuing to promote Nigeria’s image at home and abroad,” he said.
