Air Peace has announced a comprehensive restructuring of its regional flight operations, with all services across its West and Central African network set to transition from night-time to daytime flights beginning 02 February 2026.

The airline said the decision forms part of a broader strategy to improve passenger experience, operational efficiency, and schedule reliability, while offering flight timings that better connect with domestic, regional, and long-haul services from its Lagos hub.

In a statement issued in Lagos, Air Peace explained that the move to daytime operations will significantly strengthen connectivity between Nigeria and key regional markets, positioning the airline as a leading carrier for intra-African travel.

Enhanced Daytime Regional Operations

Under the revised schedule, Air Peace will operate structured daytime rotations on major West African routes. The Lagos–Abidjan–Dakar–Banjul–Dakar–Abidjan–Lagos service will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with early morning departures from Lagos and same-day evening returns.

Similarly, the Lagos–Accra–Roberts International Airport, Monrovia–Freetown–Roberts International–Accra–Lagos route will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, allowing passengers to complete multi-sector regional journeys within daylight hours.

The airline will also continue its daily Lagos–Accra–Lagos operations, supported by additional evening frequencies on select days, reinforcing one of West Africa’s busiest air routes and offering passengers greater flexibility.

Improved Passenger Experience and Reliability

Air Peace noted that the transition to daytime regional flights is expected to enhance passenger comfort and convenience, reduce operational disruptions associated with night-time operations, and improve on-time performance.

According to the airline, the revised schedule also provides stronger connectivity to night-time long-haul departures, enabling smoother transfers for passengers travelling beyond the region.

The carrier added that the new structure delivers a competitive advantage over other regional and international airlines operating from Lagos, while supporting increased business, government, and leisure travel across West and Central Africa.

Boost to Intra-African Connectivity
Air Peace described the development as a significant contribution to the growth of intra-African trade, tourism, and mobility.

By optimising schedules and improving access to key regional destinations, the airline said it is reinforcing Nigeria’s role as a central aviation hub on the continent.

Further Route Expansion Planned
In addition to the daytime schedule realignment, Air Peace announced plans to introduce new regional routes before the end of the first quarter of operations.

Proposed destinations include Douala, Libreville, Kinshasa, Conakry, Bamako, and Johannesburg, as part of its ongoing Africa-to-Africa expansion drive.

Tickets Available

The airline has opened bookings for the new daytime regional services, encouraging passengers, corporate clients, and travel trade partners to take advantage of the improved schedules. Tickets are available through authorised travel agencies, the Air Peace website, and other approved sales platforms.

Air Peace reaffirmed its commitment to safe, reliable, and competitive air transport, while continuing efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s standing as a major aviation hub for Africa.
