Aviation security officials of the federal airports authority of Nigeria FAAN today arrested a man for climbing an aircraft belonging to Azma airlines while it was waiting for clearance from Air traffic controllers ATC, to take off at the murtala Mohammed airport Lagos.
Pilot of the aircraft had reported to the avsec when he noticed the man on the plane as they await clearance to take off from Lagos to Port Harcourt.
Following the arrest of the man, the aircraft had to taxi back to the Apron and was properly checked before it eventually took off to Port Harcourt.
Spokesman of FAAN Henrietta Yakubu in a release says investigation has commenced into the incident., as stakeholders have called for punishment of those aviation Security officials on duty when the incident occurred.
