The federal Airports Authority of Nigeria FAAN say four passengers and two crew members sustained serious injuries while 27 other passengers and five crew members had minor injuries when an aircraft belonging to United Airline made an emergency return few hours after take off at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport MMIA Lagos
FAAN in a release by its Director Public Affairs and Consumer Protection Obiageli Orah said the Rescue team of the Agency responded swiftly having been on alert and standby just four minutes after the pilot reported distress at 01.20am..
Orah disclosed that the Aviation medical ambulances transported the injured passengers to the various clinics within the airport while those with serious injuries were stabilised and transferred to Duchess Hospital Ikeja.
